About me
The Bass-Baritone Christoph Schweizer presents himself with an unmistakable vocal tone and acting talent. Due to his extensive Training as a singer, conductor, music teacher, and violist, he is a truly exceptional musical personality.
For over ten years, the German singer has been successfully active in the music scene and has already performed with renowned ensembles such as the St. Thomas Choir Leipzigthe Nederlandse Bachvereiniging and the Stuttgarter Hymnus Chorknaben.
Most recently, Christoph Schweizer made his debut as Dulcamara in "L'elisir d'amore" (G. Donizetti) at the opera in San Sebastián (ES). At the beginning of the season he appeared for the first time as Osmin in "The Abduction from the Seraglio"
(W. A. Mozart) at the Bürgeroper Biberach.
In 22/23 he was a guest at the Lübeck Theater and before already engaged in the opera studio there.
Christoph Schweizer has been the conductor of the ChorForum Ludwigsburg and has developed the ensemble into an impressive oratorio choir with 90 members. In addition to his artistic activities, the Swabian also works as a part-time farmer farmer and lives with his family near Stuttgart.

Thanks to years of experience as a conductor and bass in renowned radio and opera choirs, Christoph Schweizer has a finely tuned ear and is able to blend in with the ensemble.
